We answer every email.
Email support@civia.app and tell us what happened. If it is a wrong answer in the app, include the question number — that gets it fixed fastest.
Your filing date decides it, not your interview date. If you filed Form N-400 on or after 20 October 2025 you take the 2025 test: 128 questions, 20 asked, 12 to pass. If you filed before that date you take the 2008 test: 100 questions, 10 asked, 6 to pass. Your filing date is on your receipt notice, Form I-797C. You can change this any time in the Me tab.
Nine answers change with elections, appointments, or where you live. Civia shows the date each was last checked. Confirm them at uscis.gov/citizenship/testupdates before your interview, and email us if ours is stale.
A ZIP code can cover more than one congressional district, so there is no reliable way to work out your representative from it. Rather than guess, we point you at house.gov, which is what USCIS does too.
Civia needs microphone and speech recognition permission for spoken practice. On iOS: Settings, Civia, and turn both on. On Android: Settings, Apps, Civia, Permissions, Microphone. You can also mark yourself instead of speaking.
